Why Give to PLBS

Purple Lotus Buddhist School is a non-profit private school. We aim to make the PLBS experience affordable. Although our tuition is lower than the average for other private schools, there are many students from lower income/single parent families. These students are dependent upon financial aid and thus need your generous support. Our Board of Directors has approved plans to award as many scholarships/ financial aid to low-income students as is possible within our financial constraints. Donations are very important to the success of PLBS and its students. Tuition fees do not cover all the costs of providing a first-class and unique educational program, so, like all independent schools, Purple Lotus Buddhist School relies on annual gift income to cover part of the operating budget. In addition, the school relies on capital and major gifts to ensure future growth.

Ways to Give

If you are able to support PLBS financially, you may make a contribution via check/money order payable to Purple Lotus Buddhist School or declare a donation via Visa/MasterCard. All donations are tax deductible. Receipts are available upon request.
