Volunteer Services
PLBS, through working closely with the Student Council, encourages and provides opportunities for students to take part in various community outreach activities. Through volunteering, PLBS students grow to become concerned citizens of the community and, through the enlightened citizenships, will take the initiative to spend their time and talents to improve the welfare (spiritual, physical, and emotional) of themselves and others in school, community, and global environment.
PLBS students have provided volunteer services to many senior centers and charitable agencies around the Bay Area. Here are some examples:
- Tri-City Low Income Family Center
- Ralph and Mary Ruggieri Senior Center
- Centro de Servicios Resource Center
- UmekiSenior Center
- Dibble Army General Hospital
